Michael Dadasovich was born in the Central Valley and has lived in the Bay Area for the past thirty years. After graduating from Cal Poly’s School of Architecture with a degree in City and Regional Planning, he worked in various city, county, regional and state planning agencies before starting his own development firm. Since his retirement seven years ago, he has found new excitement and challenges in plein air painting. Michael has taken workshops from Randall Sexton, Nikki Basch-Davis, Gregory Kondos,  and Jerrold Turner. He has won awards for his urbanscape and plein air work and has participated in the invitational Point Reyes Station Plein Air Paint-Out.  Michael has had shows at the Kensington Library, Manteca City Council Chambers, Ledgewood Creek winery,  Sunflower and has participated in Vacaville’s Art in the Park, Danville’s Art in the Park, San Francisco’s Hilliard Gallery, Benicia Library and Delicato Vineyards juried shows.  He enjoys urbanscape, landscape and expressionistic figure painting and works in all mediums.  Michael is currently a member of Arts Benicia, the Benicia Plein Air Gallery and paints with Da Group.
